Axis Camera SD Problems

Update Firmware

1. Log into the Axis Camera via the IP address

2. Click on the yellow Settings tab on the bottom right

3. Click on the System tab

4. Click on the Maintenance icon

5. Check that the firmware is the same as the latest firmware version

6. Click on the click provided under Firmware upgrade

7. Input your camera model in the newly opened link (Q6124)

8. If the versions do not match download the Firmware

9. Go back to the camera and click on the Select file button and select the downloaded firmware file

10. Click on the Upgrade button to upgrade the firmware

Format SD Card

1. Login into the Axis Camera via the IP address

2. Click on the yellow Settings tab on the bottom right

3. Click on the System tab

4. Click on the Storage icon

5. Click on the down v arrow next to the SD card

6. Go down under Tools and select Format (erase all)

7. Click on the wrench icon to format SD card
