The settings on the camera can be manipulated at night in order to increase the ability for the camera to see. Manually manipulating the settings is generally going to produce better images than having it done automatically. It must be noted that once the camera has been changed manually it will maintain those settings until it is reset, or programmed to go back to automatic settings. This can produce a problem when the sun comes up in the morning the image may get flushed out if the iris is left open and not reset to automatic. To adjust the lighting on the camera simply move the slider bar on the "Iris" bar where the Arrow is. You can turn the automatic setting back on, by opening the control panel and turning the auto settings on. The image can be converted to and from color at night by turning the "IR Cut Filter on/off/automatic".
